But the rise in white supremacist rhetoric is undeniable. Tony Hindecliff comedy hours and Nick Fuentes podcasts are symptomatic of a normalization of Proud Boy attitudes, particularly in the elite finance/tech circles.
DC is also filling up with these creeps.
TRUMP used IDENTITY POLITICS. It was super-effective!
Sigh.
Some identities are acceptable, some are not.
This is absolutely true of both political parties.
For all its flaws their current strategy is to try and be everything to everybody.
He can't even bring himself to campaign on a non identify-politics theme like the economy. Remember his news event at the golf course where they had all the props to talk about inflation and he went off on diatribes about Biden and immigrants instead?
The latter is (wrongly) seen as uniquely disruptive to the general order, and that's what makes it "politics" under the conventional, neoliberal (incorrect) definition.

If Harris takes office, this rhetoric only gets more heated. Fully expect to see NYC/WaPo headlines about White House anti-white racism next year.
He's turning the paper into another WSJ.
