this reminds me of how in the movie saloum the main characters consist of 3 mercenaries, one of which has a supply of sleeping powder he uses to blow into enemies/key targets faces which instantly knocks them out.
Later on one of them taps that guy on the shoulder and with practiced ease that guy uses it on him and catches him before setting him on the ground. They do this routine whenever they encounter and have to travel on a river because that guy is deathly afraid of water.
