Depends on the state you live in. Some states end at ww2.
Growing up that's how all of my classes were until 7th grade where they would jump from ww2 to modern history. Then 10th grade and on they ended a little bit after Vietnam but never made it to the first gulf war
I was about to say mine when to the Iraq war and the election of Obama but then I remembered that in high school I took the history class at a community college as part of a dual credit program.
Although I remember the state exam (STAAR test) being like really easy and having questions on it like "which of these countries was part of the axis powers?" and "who was the first female Supreme Court Justice"
Kind of like how the first semester of US history in college never made it to the Civil War, and the next semester would start with Reconstruction and breeze right through it...
My high school covered it pretty extensively 15 years ago. Idk what they're doing now, but we watched All The President's Men alongside reading about the mess in our textbooks.
I took APUSH and one of the essay questions was about Watergate, and I remember going online after the exam and everyone was pissed because no one reached Watergate in class
i was thinking about this the whole time i was listening to the taking the l episode. thinking about the tinned fish i have in the pantry, how i'm middle aged now, closer to death. anyhow…
He moved to Europe to try to start a new life, but his past caught up with him John Wick Style (the dead wife was the sardine cans, Alfie Allen was Coach)

How soon did you surrender these fish to your unhappy children ?

That's a prediction, not an oath. The sardines will avenge you.
