Bluesky is officially “open” now (no more invites). So just a reminder to not engage with trolls and bad actors, there is no algorithm here to promote or spread them, replying to them is what puts them on everybody’s timelines. So block and give no oxygen.

I mean I know occasionally tumblr will throw a blaze or one of those "promote an artist" posts but that's pretty infrequent and clearly labeled.
I actively avoid the For You tab in twitter so you’d think I would have made the connection.

The network you're thinking of is Fediverse, which is what Mastodon uses. Mods handle trolls, and there's no algorithm to promote them.
I wonder if they have a tip jar we can support to thank them all for their efforts.

I was the troll who trolled the trolls until they broke of crying and blocking me.
I did this so they couldn't engage with other innocent people.
It worked so well that I came up on their blocking list.
I try my best to avoid it now.
