Inscryption was so different and cool, it was a card game ultimately but I really enjoyed it. I also sank like 400 hours into Monster Hunter Rise since its release. Next stop: a replay of a Fallout or Skyrim w/ mods for the first time, Mass Effect, or Baldur's Gate 3 to make characters for hours...
The disk has literally been copying for an hour and I want to scream. I had to leave it because I’m in a DnD campaign but I’m def coming back to it right after lol
Have you played Citizen Sleeper? It's a text based game about an android that escaped indentured servitude to a crumbling space station. You spend dice for actions.
HBO max though I am not sure if the newest season is up there yet but def worth watching what is up. One of the most consistently funny modern comedies

i was telling my friends that the bear has overwritten my tinnitus, now instead of high pitches I hear COUSIN SHUT THE FUCK UP and assorted screaming echoing around my head
i’ve been sinking a stupid amount of hours in fear and hunger and the system shock remake, however i also played stanley parable ultra deluxe and it’s SO much better than i thought it would be
Hyrule Warriors for Switch. I get to go back to nostalgic Zelfa locations and play as nostalgic Zelfa characters while zooming around a battlefield killing many dudes very quickly. feels great, numbs the existential angst something fierce.
I need us to close out this little experiment we’ve been calling capitalism bc rent and bills are the only things stopping me from losing myself in stardew valley
MGM+ From if you're into scifi/horror/dark fantasy at all. Primo is shea serrano's new sitcom if you like sitcoms. Me and my gf got SO into pennyworth after not even knowing it existed
Be prepared to watch severance at least twice. I just finished up my second time through and I kinda want to watch it again before the new season comes out.
idk if i can handle that kind of responsibility again i still wake up in a cold sweat thinking about how I’ll never play with my nintendogz again (i lost the game like 10 years ago)
I absolutely loved Chained Echoes. It felt like playing Final Fantasy VI on the snes did, but the game mechanics are updated with so many quality of life improvements. Super underrated title if you like turn-based rpgs
For those that cannot wait, the trilogy the series is from is on audible. I went through the entire set in about a week and loved it. I would say Silo season one is about half of the story from the first book alone.
Oh man. Both good. Shrinking I think is more human, kinda fun but also real. Servant is also good, but the last season felt like it went off the deep end.
Don't laugh, old episodes of The Price is Right. The "TPiR: Barker Era" channel on PlutoTV/other FAST streamers is a good window into how the 80s really were.

You know what’s been stuck in mine for years tho? That song from Billy Hatcher on GameCube omg…
Charming, beautiful, cozy
Just enough peril to keep it interesting

Something lighter:
Hilda!
Have you seen Good Omens? Its another gaiman story and s2 is releasing “soon”
Lovely gentle exploration, puzzle platformer with lots of depth and an intriguing plot.
Unique art style too.
If you want to hit the theater, I honestly liked the new Indiana Jones more than I thought I would and don’t have a lot of nostalgia for the old ones.

Hugh Howey is an incredible writer.
Attention to detail and writing just on another level compared to what we mostly get nowdays
Can’t wait for season two!
Will either start shrinking or servant next 🫡
It's like someone tried to make a series out of smutty tiktoks.
