its almost like the resist shitlibs don't get that they're included in the FO part of FAFO
as much as they wanna delight in others' struggles (much the same way as maga/gop does), they're also affected by what fuckshit goes on.. lol
like even if you were gonna go with the "im gonna make fun of them that now they'll struggle" perspective, the dems & libs are gonna be worrying about the next election and they're gonna want ppl to vote their candidates
and ain't no one gonna vote for the party that just pointed and laughed at u
If it were up to me, if you voted for Trump because you're a racist homophobic misogynistic Fox watcher -- I think you shouldn't hold any positions of authority, and I have no sympathy if your kids don't call and nobody listens to you in the break room.
“Vote better next time” while people are homeless, flooded, or dead is not just unhelpful—it’s just needlessly cruel in a world already rife with needless cruelty.
Not that it's the point, but there is no such thing as red and blue states. Every state has a similar pattern at the local level, with a bit of skew left or right overall. It's not quite urban vs rural but it's close enough. I think of it as cosmopolitan vs provincial.
It’s like people forget that good people live in the south? And even the people there who aren’t good don’t deserve this shit. I have some sympathy for a lot of Trump voters bc they’ve been lied to for almost a decade. The ones who voted out of spite and hatred I have a limited amount for but still
Yeah it makes no sense to act like the blue version of what MAGA wishes on others. And like you said, this isn’t an individual act, natural disasters hurt *everyone*.
Even if they voted, so fucking what- this is a sickness, make everyone such an enemy that there is no gray areas and everyone wants to be high on some arbitrary moral ladder. Fuck that, human rights are human rights and this would help no one. Just like the CA wildfires and the "woohoo burn elitist"
I’m in Florida and we got hit with 2 hurricanes in the same month last year, and it was disgusting going online and seeing people celebrating it because the state is red. There are lots of anti-MAGA people here, we don’t deserve to die in a hurricane because some right wing chuds live here too.
yes, this continues to help the cause of convincing anyone undecided to see progressive liberal democrats as allies you fucking classist ableist dipshits
I 100% believe that for some people they literally think the only difference between Democrats and Republicans is that Republicans look like the people in the picture. Like it's not just a stereotype for them, it's that they are that shallow and surface level in their "beliefs"
As someone who can't vote it rules to live in a tornado prone state that Trump won by 2%. Now at least when I get crushed by a falling tree I can rest easy knowing that someone out there will be happy about it.
It's always the same series of posts. That meme, stats about how southern states are poor and the associated consequences of poverty as points of shame. "You get what you vote for" and "FAFO"
I'm so tired of these people. They are so eager to punish SOMEONE and they're blaming anyone but the party members that knew the threat and did nothing because having a bogeyman political opponent is good for fundraising and excusing their own failings

That's it. That's my definition of FAFO.
what’s being wished upon them right now isn’t even individually targeted either as it’s all going to take out more innocents than anything else
this system fucking works.
And let’s say my goal is convincing them my side is the one that does better. Why would I not be out there wearing Dem gear and helping everyone?
