Not being funny or anything but if I was an American who had lost family fighting the Nazis I would be /beyond pissed/ that the President of the US literally doesn't know when Victory in Europe Day is.

He was born in ΠΠ΅ΡΡΠΎΠ²ΡΡΡΠ²ΠΊΠ°, lived there and in Odesa at various times.
My great grandmotherβs sister actually emigrated to the U.S. and then moved back to Odesa in the 1930s (!!)
Ultimately the vexillology will be history's call, not ours
