The trade war threatens to decouple the world’s top LNG buyer and seller.
China hasn’t imported LNG from the US for 40 days, the longest gap in almost two years. #EconSky

This was a few months ago though, before all the layoffs and trade war talk started affecting exports, so things may have shifted around by now.
“We all just know what time to meet?”
“ We all just know this woman?”
😂😂😂
(not all of us follow macro economics or #econsky yet)
& now suddenly, these impatient people are repeating the nonsense that we must suffer & destroy our economy for vague benefits no one has even described.

At least our allies respected us, we honored trade agreements, and the White House wasn't stuffed chock full of racist assholes.
They can f@ck all the way off
- What is this doing to world market pricing?
- Where is the US LNG going instead?
Noting this deal with Woodside doesn’t see LNG deliveries start until.. 2027 (2 years away).
So the two are probably unconnected or only very loosely.
To repeat:
- This deal (extension?) is for 2027 and beyond.
- The current contract started in 2002.. for 25 years. So it dovetails to end at the same time as the new contract starts.
That was seen as a water play.
The confusion perhaps is because reporting says it’s near the border with “gas rich Bolivia”.
India is not a major exporter of LNG (It’s a major importer).
They buy mainly from Qatar.
Perhaps they are buying more from the US in 2025? 🤷🏾
Are you talking about this project in BC? It looks like Japan is the major customer there.

Wow, hadn't thought about specific numbers in a long time...
Used to have two perm tabs in my browser (today and yesterday) that I updated each day to see how the numbers/standings changed each day; particularly remember when we reached 2,500/day.
Here's the excellent page/site I used
The cost will be millions of jobs lost and a huge increase in loan defaults.
What will be left then... 'Coz there will be nothing else around so they can just drink the gas, pour it on themselves and 🔥

During the Great Depression there was deflation. Form 1929 until 1933 the CPI fell over 27%. People couldn't afford to buy food, let alone anything else.
The US is hurting US jobs and helping Iran

Imagine knowing you might have to enforce it in an American court. That you risk that instead of being a business, any assertion of your rights might make you a token in their culture war.

Everyone knows that a change to normal administration shuts down coal
Trump can promise whatever he wants, he is literally writing the blueprint for government promises means nothing for future administrations
Now rigging elections for JD Vance or others. Much likelier
Talking about cognitive dissonance…
When do the oil and gas folks start to feel enough pain to pushback against Trump?
