The olympic-grade denial you have to be in to STILL dickride this thing as hard as they do. The fucking blast radius of embarrassment can be felt for miles out.
Harry Connick Jr.'s dad famously violated the rights of criminal defendants as the District Attorney of Orleans Parish including a complete rebuke by the U.S Supreme Court, it's sad but not shocking to learn that hid son's parade promotes Nazi propaganda
the Ginsburg dissent in the case goes through the looooong history of violations of Constitutional rights under Harry Connick's watch, it was routine practice to hide all exculpatory evidence from defendants
Yeah, save those eggs. Throw the sea food trash at them (I made the mistake of lifting the burlap on a barrel in front of a restaurant there...the smell of old oyster, shrimp, and crawdad refuse about knocked me out...don't ask me why I felt I had to check the trash LOL).
Fair point. but Just Another Face in the crowd mentality over self preservation. if you find the right moment. strike. no one would know who tossed the first egg.
Napoleon tends to be more families and less rowdy in my experience. Once you get onto St. Charles and you hit the big groups of college kids, all bets are off.
No no no no. This is done with scraps from jobs and donated to the ACLU or SPLC. I understand in 2025 but we can have moral capitalism and takedown Tesla. We can also respectfully disagree.
Suddenly it makes sense why elon wanted windows that could stop a metal ball. Say gang, has anyone tried that on his cybertruck recently? You know, for science?
Of course its from Texas.
I moved away from there and if it's not then stroking their ego about guns and America, it's trucks and this sad excuse for a shit stain that God himself shuns away
That’s good to know at least, bc I’m not at all familiar with that flag and from the low definition video they could definitely be confused for a Nazi flag
A regular Tesla is understandable. Cybertrucks are a deliberate choice of vice signaling. Crappy, expensive, and ugly. Launched well after Elon started publicly spiraling.
I feel like I only knew of him peripherally as Mr. Grimes, then suddenly I’m reading something about him bitching about shutdowns in March/April 2020 and was like “oh you’re a shit boss and a bad person. Got it”.
I guess maybe Hyperloop for being a conman to whom was paying attention back in 2013, but for anyone else c’mon… during the rescue from the boys at the cave he already showed that was a fully evil deranged person.
Thai cave submarine or hyperloop is probably the earliest onramp for the average person, real heads been hating since he forced out the Tesla founders.
Pedoguy did it for me. I'm slightly ashamed how long it took me to see through the carefully curated "weird but okay" image to the underlying Nazi, but here we are.
Yeah, I really like my Model 3 Performance. Nobody else makes a car that has the performance it has with access to the Supercharger network for the price.
Even if someone else did, I'm not about to drop $60K just to virtue signal.
I honestly feel bad for people who own Tesla’s who hate Elon. Cybertrucks in particular are hard to insure and are a pretty hefty investment. Also a lot of uber drivers have them bc there was an incentive at one point to go EV and tesla had the biggest marketshare back then.
I bought mine in 2019. At the time, I merely would have described Elon as "eccentric".
I haven't gotten rid of it because it wouldn't accomplish anything. He's already gotten the $60K from me, and selling it won't take any of it back. And then I'd have to go out and spend money on another car.
I'm not going to take a large financial loss for the sole purpose of virtue signaling. I'll keep driving this car until I'm ready to buy my next car, at which time I certainly won't be buying another Tesla, despite how much I used to dream about the Roadster.
Someone asked why stuff wasn’t being thrown at it. There are two cops right down front lol.
I think there are a few regional flags with that color scheme. The city will fine Krewes that get political in a non-satirical way so I doubt it’s anything too wild.
Poor judgment for sure. It's a prestige thing. Some Krewes have limos, some convertibles, some SUVs. Someone clearly made a choice that they would be well-received and it was a bad one. Mostly the courtesy vehicles are ignored and never a target.
Yes I know the escort vehicles and what they’re used for. Idk how anyone doesn’t know what a Cybertruck stands for so I don’t think they can play ignorant. Been a favorite parade of mine for a while. Idk now…
Whether it was ignorance, or someone looking to make a statement, I bet this Cybertruck decision is reviewed by the Krewe. People have been making fun of them since they came out, it should have been expected even if it was an old contract sinmgned last year.

I don't see why adults can't.

I think I'd rather get him scratch offs and THEN see if I can afford to make him cupcakes.
Be careful folks!

But yes, every year there are cars in the parade for people marching in the parade who need to take 5 without getting left behind.
