I endured a lot of bullying during my childhood until I punched them so hard in the face that they finally stopped. Got suspended for a week at school and my dad was so proud of me. Hahah
Unfortunately, I would have needed to punch over 200 classmates to stop my bullying. My entire class participated in making my life as miserable as possible. (And that pain doesn’t end on graduation day when everyone goes their separate ways; too many live on in my head)
As a communist, there's a level of psychic damage that comes from a silver-spoon billionaire being the most progressive Governor in the country.

The irony of this being at a HRC function is nearly palpable. I get the why of it, it's just ironic given the organization's historical deficit of protecting trans people. They don't make this leap until they feel the winds - and funding - shifting back again, so maybe there's hope?
When people say, let's not have 'purity' tests, this is where I draw the line. We have to support trans people - kids and adults. If you're willing to throw them under the bus, you're not a reliable ally.
During is campaign the only real attack the opponent had was that Pritzker had all the toilets removed from one of his houses so it'd be considered uninhabitable and therefore get a tax break.
"Good billionaire" feels like a strange concept, but he seems to be one. So does Mackenzie Scott (Bezos' ex wife), who has donated huge amounts of her fortune to charity.
The fact that he's a billionaire is part of why he can do this: the Democratic leadership controls most of their candidates by restricting their access to campaign funds and threatening to back their primary opponents. A guy with loads of his own money is basically immune to that, for good or bad.
We gotta be strategic, my man! We can worry about his billionaire money after he kicks the crap out of the other billionaires at the polls. Literally just trying to keep my people alive right now. So no don't forget he's loaded but we can't bus factor the guy over it either
This is the difference between a human being with principles who works as a politician, as opposed to a politician that uses his position to appear human.

Whoever shows backbone and courage and toughness will win the Democratic nomination in 2028. So far, that is NOT Newsom, Polis, Hochul, or pretty much any Dem member of Congress . . .
He had a lot of tragedy in his early life snd lost both parents at a young age. Even tho he is wealthy, he does understand hardship & loss and that makes him empathetic.
How is Pritzker gonna get that coveted Newsom podcast invite now? I guess Gavin will just need to interview Hilary Cass, Ray Blanchard, and maybe do a read-a-long of Mein Kampf instead.

He's doing the right thing here, because for one what's happening is where seeing what I call these third way dem losers doing what they always did under Bush Presidency after Kerry lost in 2004 which was to throw people under the bus. They did it with BLM too in 2016.
As a Packers fans and regular visitor to WI this ails me after being taught about FIBs by my friends but I am severely warming to Illinois and all her peeps. Despite the billions this guy is the one that the US needs rn.
