Bookmark is ours in Charlottetown PEI. I went this morning to enjoy the crowds of book browsers and to pick up Zadie Smith’s “On Beauty.”
Also got more beautiful ink that I don’t really need… they stock great pens, journals, and inks and even run a pen club!

State College, PA has Webster's used books, which is awesome, and The Squirrel and Acorn Bookshop for new stuff. Plus, nearby Bellefonte has the awesome new nonprofit bookstore The Print Factory. A beautiful blue gem in the middle of a an old red town.

Not sure if they are on Bluesky, but Roxbury's Frugal Books is the only black owned bookstore in the Greater Boston area. Excellent customer service and hosts events for the community.

The best book store in America! I must have gone here once a week in the 90s. If I could put myself in a memory, it would be browsing the classics section with the sounds of Loreena Mckinnit playing in the background. All the rooms had different music and it sounds odd but it worked!
