This is the only argument that makes sense, but if it makes that much sense, Dems should all be voting for the budget bill and using that argument to explain why. But they're not, probably because they know the courts are as big a gamble as anything else these days.

Congress is a line of defense as well, if they can act like it. Schumer's abdicating. The gamble in the courts is whether or not the Trump administration will abide by rulings. At this juncture, it feels like every step that *might* help out to be explored.
