This DiffChecker comparison shows the differences between the internal Paul Weiss version of the agreement shared by Chair Brad Karp, left, and what Trump posted on Truth Social, right.

Helpful to see all the partisan edits by Trump marketing.
Their edit changing Paul Weiss's "our justice system" to "the justice system" is the strangest thing. Do the Trump propagandists hate the public showing a sense of ownership for a shared justice system?
So what are they going to do about Trump falsely claiming that they "admitted" that the felony convictions were "weaponized justice" that they apologize for?
Reading btwn the lines, PW will be the admin's attack dog to go after supposed anti-semites, i.e. peace activists, pro-Palestinians & anti-Israel activists, anti-Zionists, etc., and they are fully on board with doing this work. It's possible they will make big bucks from a different set of clients.
Does the blank box on the left mean they agreed to the statement, and then said "Fill in the box with whatever you want?"
Or, to put it another way, they trusted the Trump WH not to put something like the Pomerantz attack in there? Or Paul Weiss didn't think to confirm what *exactly* would be said?
It wouldn't look like a blank box in the original document. When doing a side by side comparison like this, that's how the checker presents a missing paragraph.
No- that’s the Diffchecker website’s formatting. There’s not a blank box there in the firm’s version, Diffchecker is just showing that Trump’s version has an additional paragraph there.
My question is did Paul Weiss agree to the overall release, with the understanding Trump's lawyers would put their own, unreviewed by Paul Weiss, "WHITE HOUSE STATEMENT" in later?
Or was there never supposed to be a WH Statement appended?
It sounds like Paul Weiss wanted to make a conservative-friendly-sounding commitment to their existing policies, and then Trump pulled the rug out from under them.
Join up with the Nazis. Now you’re a Nazi. No amount of petulant hand wringing that trump lied will ever charge that. You’re with the Nazis. You’re doing free work for them
And how fucking stupid do you have to be to trust TRUMP!!
Oh my gosh!!!! This is incredible!!! Think of all the people who follow him and believe this!!! This is not only out and out lying, but propaganda in the max. Who will get the word out on this?
Now some attorney at Paul Weiss who might have a soul (hey, they’re out there) will have to do pro bono work for Trump in fulfillment of this deal. I’m waiting for the resignations…but I’m not holding my breath.

That's factually untrue.

Oh…only in the literary sense, I’m told.
