Damn, what a loss. 60 years a film star. Kubrick cast him in his first movie role in Dr. Strangelove after seeing him onstage in a Shakespeare production.
Yeah I have been watching basically nothing but Homicide since it drops, 2-4 episodes a night. Bummed that I am almost done. Season 7 is a short one, and no Andre Braugher.
93 years is a pretty good run, and what a career, what a body of work.

Such an amazing actor and individual. Was just talking about what a trip it is to watch his performance in Dr. Strangelove at age 31 or 32... Hope he went peacefully. Sending love to his family.

I hope he finds what he seeks in whatever comes next.
he was great as a performer, but he was also a decent dude.

RIP to a great one.
I loved Homicide. I was just finishing it when The Wire came out too. Lucky me.

What a story indeed. Rest in peace.
β¦but goddamn, he made it to 93. Thatβs pretty good for men. So, good job, Mr. Jones ππ½
*solemnly* May the force be with you.
Don't even debate me.

Probably a lot of our chidhoods.
(Candor requires me to note that although all these roles were originally voiced by James Earl Jones, the voices here are imitated, by Harry Shearer.)
