I'm a solo developer and I leverage procedural generation for making the environments of my game (grass, moss, rocks, buildings, all kinds of things). Generation is done in Houdini, so not at run-time.

If I qualify / there's room I would like to be in the starter pack 🙂

This happened to me earlier with someone else. I think there is another screen at the end where you also get to edit the feeds included in the pack, but it doesn't save your changes in the previous screen if you don't complete this last one.

Though in practice I've been looking more at the Procedural Generation feed with posts tagged #prοcgen or #prοcedural. Easier to discover new people and projects without relying on manual curation. I see it's included in your starter pack. :)

I saw your feed and it is part of the starterpack. Interesting point about lists though. I could add a few people from there, maybe a starter pack should just be smaller, 'more concentrated' 🤷‍♂️ Any specific suggestions?

Honestly difficult as there's many I could recommend but most come with reservations like "I know they're great but they haven't posted much to Bluesky yet" or "posts nice screenshots but don't explain much" or "they've done amazing stuff in the past, but currently focused on non-prοcgen" etc.

Our current project at @triangularpixels.com is loads of different kinds of proc-gen smashed together :) Having a VR game that has to adapt to users play spaces forced our hand a bit so we ended up going fully into it.

Music gen is quite fun, though learning what sounds good and what doesn't can be quite tricky. I've been dabbling with it for a while, but EAR is the only thing I've done that went beyond a proof of concept.. I want to try other types of procgen too though!
