Nothing is weirder than finding out how famous a podcast you just heard about is. What do you mean there's a show called All The McFeels where the hosts recap every episode of Ally McBeal and their live shows sell out football stadiums?

That is shocking
We are a ridiculous nation
Yesterday I heard ads by actors on old TV series giving us behind beyond the scenes gossip
Suits & Cheers
Who has time for this crap?
These are nails in America’s coffin.
Ted Danson is in funny series about nursing homes which seemed very realistic. 🙃
Maybe the Frazier recap podcast that @gbullard.bsky.social and I have been developing for about for a decade is ripe for a launch. I mean who wouldn’t want to listen to Citizen Crane?
It's even weirder for me when I realize one of my second or third tier subs is actually huge, a mix of having listened to podcasts since the days when everything was small and listening mostly to niche shit with very engaged medium-small fanbases means podcasts being a mass medium still feels weird
But seriously, is that actually a thing? One of the most famous podcasts I listen to is three former Cracked writers recapping Mountain Monsters episodes. I assumed it was just popular with fans of old internet comedy, but nope.
do you want do my podcast Cum on Fee the Waybill where we talk about The Tubes for three hours? We're doing back to back weeks at Albert Hall and Budokan
This is also my experience with most pop music these days. "So EVERYONE'S an arena headliner now??" I ask the air, because I'm not a parent and don't know what's going on.
It's really addicting actually, and I'm not even a big D&D fan. I just finished the first season of Dimension 20: Fantasy High (which you can either watch or listen to) and it is very fun. They also did "Dungeons & Drag Queens" which is exactly what it sounds like.
Not so much a podcast as a fully produced show on an independent streaming platform. It's the biggest show on that platform with countless series, which is mad.
