I've only had Hulu Live but I love it. And there are great originals like Handmaid's Tale and Only Murders in the Building.

The “DVR” function on both Hulu and YouTubeTV suck, but the Hulu one sucks exponentially harder than the YouTubeTV one. I had Hulu for live TV for a while, was ready to switch to anything else when YouTube TV got NFL Sunday Ticket so switched then, and can’t recommend YTTV over Hulu strongly enough.

I had YouTubeTV, but they dropped SNY and I’m a Mets fan, so I switched to Hulu. YouTubeTV was a better interface than Hulu is, but gotta have the Mets. #LGM.

Hulu Live was terrible. I cancelled it after one day.
You still have to watch all the ads and cannot FF past them.

You CAN FF with YT TV. last I had them. But you have to invite Google into everything you.

We have YouTube TV and can FF through ads. SOMETIMES I cannot (might be if I’m watching a show only slightly delayed, I believe). But that hasn’t happened in a while.

With Hulu Live If you are watching live you can’t Ffwd (how could you, it hasn’t aired yet.) But if you are watching ‘from beginning’ or delayed you can FFwd and you can almost always FFwd through commercials if you recorded to watch later.

If you just want broadcast TV and can do without cable, consider getting HD antenna plus Tablo device for DVR. No monthly fees. Cheap and easy to set up. HD antennas are about the size of a magazine and can be installed inside anywhere with Tablo.

I got an email from Hulu notifying me that even paid, ostensibly ad-free tiers would subsequently have ads, and that ensured that I would never, ever subscribe to Hulu. That is some kind of gall.

We switched to Hulu Live TV over a year ago and are very pleased. We get all the TV channels we like plus we can watch MSNBC (probably others) the next day if we miss a show. Bonus of great movies. We saved a lot by switching from Spectrum to Hulu.

We just cut the cord and went with Hulu. 1) like you said, we had the bundle any way, so the monthly increase was less than going with YouTube and 2) Hulu has MLB Network.

I used to love Hulu, they continuously had good content at a fair price. Once Disney stepped in, they raised the price exorbitantly for no ads and made what came across as a threat, that I'd better not share my account with anyone or else. I said goodbye

I'm in the same situation, but leaning toward YouTube.
1. Unlike Hulu, you can use VPNs with it so you can see local games.
2. Can watch Hulu shows with Disney+.

If you travel a lot and want to watch on something other than a mobile device, YTTV is much better than Hulu Live. The convenience is worth the little bit extra it costs to subscribe to regular Hulu separately.

If looking for Hulu content, I've been living off their Black Friday special pricing for years. Highly recommend given it has the Disney bundle.

Can't speak to Hulu Live as I use DirectTVStream but have a grandfathered price.

My folks have YTTV and I think that UX is God-awful.

I tried Hulu live with a Roku smart tv and it kept exiting every show after about 15 minutes. Roku blamed Hulu and Hulu blamed Roku. Could never get it resolved. Gave up.
