In the 2024 election, some of us urged a vote for the Greens or independents.
We said that this was the only way to build pressure on Labour, otherwise they would just act on pressure from Nigel Farage.
Next time, maybe listen to us.

It’s sad, as they were needed, but they were their own downfall. Can’t blame voters for that.
- Are the Lib Dems currently offering a more left-wing platform than Labour?
- Might the Lib Dem win a given seat from Labour without letting in the Tory?
Liberals probably will mop up centrists, enough for the largest party?
A further right government seems almost certain.
The devolved nations are prisoners to the English MP’s who make up the vast majority of the Westminster Parliament.
hat you *could* do is try to show Labour what their comms teams should be doing to stop them being frightened of being seen not to ape Reform.
(And I may yet end up with a Reform MP).
(Autocorrect made that 'unwanted' - clever autocorrect).
Because regardless of who holds an actual majority, at some point there will have to be compromises.
So if you already take a 'centre' position, you will inevitably get rightwing policy.

...criticising Starmer's Labour Party.
I helped work on https://stopthetories.vote during the GE and we had 1.5m postcode look ups (lots more voters saw screenshots) and in a lot of seats 1000s of views where Tories lost by small margins
We didn't need to stop the tories at the last GE, they were already dead. We needed to stop tory 2.0: starmer
It starts working the second enough people believe it can work. Which is a tricky thing, granted, but not impossible.
It’s horrible to see these things coming (predictably) and be ignored.
Absolutely no-one thinks denying citizenship will act as any form of deterrent to small boats or people smugglers. It’s brutal cruelty for cruelty’s sake against those who arrived years ago.
We don’t have a frigging Empire any more you losers!!!
When they channel transphobia they signal they’re willing to be evil to a whole load of other people too.
All round the world it’s proving a reliable early warning system.
Tactical Voting for a PM who's now bound to don cosplay tactical gear and join a dawn immigration raid or two just isn't working out for anyone.
Not just Eco Justice, but Social Justice too
We have to stop rewarding these monsters
Someone said "the Greens are the neoliberals gardeners" and I'd have to agree; by their framing shall you know them.
We certainly don't have to join any institution whose austerity based treaties override national sovereignty and democracy.
Otherwise she’s been happy Tories are gone but very critical of Labour https://news.sky.com/story/amp/carol-vorderman-calls-for-apology-from-pm-over-winter-fuel-cut-13212459
Kept swatting off all criticism about Labour’s right wing tendencies and now complaining about the things we actively warned her about w/ zero introspection
Some polling did vary but she backed https://stopthetories.vote which backed Greens in many seats but it was very much data-led by our team @mvtfwd.bsky.social
She also had Green MPs and Lords at her book launch
Thangam Debonaire of all people, objectively one of the most despicable Labour right MP’s at the time.

They got what they wanted, and now are sore winners. F**k em, f**k em all.
You were wrong to think Labour could be pressured into doing good things.
These are the people who actively conspired to give us May and BoJo over Corbyn -losing to Conservatives isn't what scares them
