The new centre ground of our migration debate is going to be between Nigel Farage & Tommy Robinson if the media gets its way.
Labour needs, desperately, to get a grip on the narrative & stop chasing the tails of the far & further right. #r4today

In pretty much all things Labour under Starmer has leapt to the right. MPs on a tight leash, nobody dare speak out. I am losing hope for the UK.
They get more clicks from extremists Views than so called normality
Extreme views get picked up and amplified by more RW views.
It has now become normalised
Impartiality is both siding BS. They need journalism. *Truth* not opinion columnist crap.
But institutions such as the Church of England are too silent.
I live in a small village in Surrey and I can see the local church is doing a lot to help, particularly people living in countries torn by war, from Ukraine to Syria to Eritrea, etc.
So there is hope.
Not many people know that Citizenship Ceremony in the UK only exist since 2004, everyone keeps pretending that this is somehow an ancient custom
Labour have a long history on this.
Making things work is essential too, but getting control of the narrative is, I’m afraid, not an optional extra.
And it’s about damn time supposedly respectable politicians stand up loudly for our Muslim & Pakistani communities.
You bunch of cowards. #r4today
We are in an age where hatred, division, hypocrisy, lies and racism are not just acceptable, but given prominence under the banner of free speech.
They are leading us astray - very deliberately. Show them all up for what they are. Regulation is essential and way, way overdue.
But of course the BBC managed to find a way. We heard from right wing Farage-supporting Montie “balanced” by digging out someone even further right’s blog 🤦♀️ #r4today
What did I JUST say?
This is what we get, lads. Those are the two options. #r4today
How many Sikhs have you ever seen or heard on BBC news & current affairs either side of the microphone?
Agreed, Labour's bad positioning and feeble narrative is just feeding the media.
I feel the only true way out is to build more, stimulating growth and bringing down house prices so that people are generally more prosperous and have less/nothing to blame migrants for.
But what hope of that.
Can’t say I’m optimistic though.

When most people get their news from SM video clips you need someone who can tell a story - that’s not Starmer.
I think his response is the adult one.musk is NOT POTUS
If "Growth" doesn't happen Farage will thrive if there is stagflation or recession.
More time required
I doubt he’s blanket refused anything … it’s just that after the entire Brexit shitshow, whatever is decided must be a vote winner.
Farage must be challenged (apparently not by Laura K on Sunday), and voters need to be brought along with …
I agree about Brexit but I think his hands are tied
See link below.
If it was me I'd choose something that was actually achievable.

What would *you* do ?
Plod on with plans for the country Farage & Reform have no plans only anger. We have to beat Farage with votes
Starmer might be the perfect back room person but he’s not a “front man”.
Farage is great at stoking anger in these but Starmer is about as exciting as wet cardboard.
If Musk tweaks the X algo to favour Farage it's game over for Labour.
I also think the media are full of too many aggressive people and addicted to their dopamine hits.
Given his Brexit red lines and anti-business policies make growth impossible it's not looking awfully good.
What I don't understand is why he's constantly doing things that'll make the economy worse.
Starmer is not that sort of person, sadly he's a follower when leadership is required.
Today's leaders do need to be persuasive on short social media video clips - something Starmer just can't do.
Starmer's Brexit red lines are the biggest problem if you want businesses to contribute to growth.
Sadly as a career civil servant he can't see it.
Musk then rounded on Farage later in the day. Bedenough then supported Honest Bobs racist rantings.
I’m happy with these events. 🤷♂️

And because they don't, then Gibb tells BBC it isn't something they should report either.
Despite the fact that it’s obviously more rebellious at this point to be putting up ideas for how to approach the issue like humans.
