Here is a radical suggestion.Perhaps party strategists all over the UK should step back from their focus groups for two minutes and think less about how to campaign, and more why they want to win. What is your plan for the country? Make up your mind, then try to sell it.
Old-fashioned, I know.
Old-fashioned, I know.

I mean the last time we asked the country en masse what they thought it didn't exactly go well.

Very poor.
I don't feel the world is stable enough for a leader to make big promises
And no one is suggesting a promise of ‘great wealth for all’ - just an improvement to things that will help large numbers of people with their daily lives.
Reform will not be punished for not delivering … I’m certain ☹️
Politics is like religion, harmless until it is “organised”.
Bring back the Brexit debate I say!
“We want to give billionaires more tax cuts” - Labour
“We want to give more fossil fuel subsidies to extremely wealthy fossil fuel shareholders” - Labour
Perhaps Labour just isn’t interested in the people who labour.
yes we get it
We abandoned those entirely in 2016.
Do keep up.
The parties should focus on how to satisfy "Wots in fer me?"

"For the many, not the few" was very clear marketing. We knew exactly what it meant
Farage is playing to base instincts of the disillusioned. It's all the foreigners fault. He doesn't want to solve anything
Farage is cratering the Tory vote, his gains are Tory losses.
Their manifestos under him with sone tweaking are hugely electable
If reform win the next election, it's the end of the union I think.
Their core vote is left. That's why labour voters have voted green and lib dem.
Problem is, that for most of the 'leaders' of our current parties* the reason they want to win is so they can be rich and powerful at the country's expense. Say out out loud & it's tricky to persuade people to vote for you
* honourable exceptions: Green, Plaid, SNP
I'm poor & don't crave great wealth, unless somebody wants to share theirs ......?.......no?
It's not all about money & power, unless you're Farage.
