Exactly my experience in mid December. The test strip wasn’t even completely wet and it was already bright pink. Fever of 102+ for three days. I had just had my annual booster about five weeks prior too. I hope you feel better quickly.

Yes, masks are definitely your friend. Especially with no public health reporting.
It knocked my daughter (adult) flat for a full week 2nd time, with paxlovid.
It just doesn’t get better the more times you contract it, it would seem.

I managed to get it in Sept while at the end of a 2 week vacation in Europe, despite having the newest bivalent vaccine booster. I was so positive when I tested (after 2 days of PND) that the test stripe was royal purple before the solution even got to the control stripe. Feel better!

Please take care of yourself. My husband had it last year and it was the sickest I have ever seen him. High fevers, rigors. Fortunately the paxlovid kicked in pretty quick. Stay hydrated.
