When I saw it in the theater for the first time, I said that the last time I'd felt that way watching a film was watching the first 3 Star Wars films in the theater. I haven't watched it in forever, I think because I'm protective of that feeling.

Yuen Woo-ping was the action director on Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, who if you don't know, directed Iron Monkey and Drunken Master among many others, and was also fight choreographer for The Matrix movies, Kill Bill, and Kung Fu Hustle.

It's an INCREDIBLE movie, one of the best ever made, IMO. Not just the fight scenes, the production design, the cinematography, the music.
And especially the powerful performances by Michelle Yeoh, Chow Yun Fat, and Zhang Ziyi.
