You’re soldiers in the Brigade/Division just committed a war crime, now what?
How do you handle the situation while continuing combat operations with the rest of the force?
Try not to bother yourself with the US Army / USMC history in "The War on Terror" - those are irrelevant irrepeatable GROUND wars of the past.
Could be a hospital, with confirmed civilian patients, that is also a SAM site. Could be supporting the BOP goon squads as they beat the shit out of peaceful protestors for "failing to disperse."
Comedy-wise, that free Tubi channel has "Keeping Mum," a delightful comedy about a serial killer. I promise.

Yes, cover the basics like My Lai and Fat Leonard. But people who need to be told to not commit mass murder and multi-bullion dollar fraud probably aren’t teachable.
Most senior leaders are going to encounter more mundane issues.
1. Your lawyer says, “this is illegal.” But there’s low risk in violating the law. Do you not do it on principle, or weigh the legal risk against the mission?
3. Do you report completion of tasks if they’re done, even if not done to standard? Do you ask for clarification of the standard when it’s a task you think is unimportant?

I'm still gonna take care of Soldiers.
I would think it excellent fodder for the study of ethics.
The author did a video a few years ago under the same title. Hoping the book is a bit more in depth.
Ordering a copy today.
A good account of The Samar Expedition would be worth the price of admission.
perhaps none of us are all that special
