Any feelings to do long distance triathlons even if you're not very fast? Lols. I always say that the start list of any Ironman triathlon is just a group of people with ADHD or very close to it! (Yes they are my people)
I'm literally discovering in my late 30s that I am likely either autistic to some degree or have ADHD. Both of my brothers were diagnosed and no one checked me. I've been bragging for years that I can drink a cup of coffee right now and go right to sleep. Never thought that was a symptom too!
Yeah, but it's not like I can't focus or something? It's just always made me crash for some reason. Which is fine because just like everyone jokes my brain thinks that I should stay up and think too hard at bedtime. 😂
I get that too but then I read the notifications and it’s just lots of people either being friendly or having valid points about things. Very confusing.
I accidentally stopped drinking sodas about 8 months ago and have only drank water and coffee since. I didn't realize something was different until it occurred to me I didn't think about opening a vein in this 8 months. Oh yeah, and i lost weight too.
Doesn’t this piss you off? Spent January w no alcohol, working out 4x a week, and eating a Mediterranean diet. Looked better. Felt better. Wondered why I hadn’t always done that.
Feb 1st I had a double bacon cheeseburger at a pub with a cold Amber Ale and couldn’t understand what January was about
A mistaken punk rock ideal of living on sex, drugs and rock n roll, cigarettes, alcohol, caffeine, chocolate, take aways, Diet Coke and an ability to curl my lip at vegetables was all I needed to get through life…😎
30 years later - My quadruple bypass 3 weeks ago says otherwise… who knew?!? 🤷♂️😬😂
If jogging and shoving cucumber in my face hole is what it takes to live long enough to forget my wife exists and regularly shit in the sock drawer, I think I'll just live fast and leave a Chris Farley corpse.
Ugh I feel this! I was telling my mother “really disappointing that doing ten minutes of yoga and going to sleep before 10pm actually make me feel a lot better overall! Disgusting!”
Yes! I started a weights program about 2 months ago & sourly told my dh that it despite all my gnashing of teeth it made me feel great. Very glad but also dang, did it have to be something so unpleasant ha.
I.lost 39 kilos in 9 months.
Feel.100.times better for it..
No.longer needing insulin,go to gym 1 hour a day,more than enough,now I can enjoy treats daily lol
Who Knew? I never eat/drink anything that says lo fat/no fat, reduced fat, diet, sugar free and I am 5'9" with a 30" waist and weigh 140#s pushing 70. I walk at least 3 miles a day and have always tried to get paid to exercise whenever possible. The idea of paying to exercise just blows me away!
Although I went out for dinner & ate a Moroccan salad bowl last night containing chickpeas and all the health things. Woke up in a toxic cloud of farts this morning
I discovered the joys of intermittent fasting, enjoying the feeling of helping my gut.
Once you do that, it's about healthy bacteria etc.
For me, nothing feels better than working for my body now,
it's my buddy for life.
LOL!! It's Mother Nature's way to remind you to eat your fruit and veggies! I don't care much for a long lifespan...I DO care for a long HEALTHSPAN. My mom is 98, her mom lived to 97. I would NOT choose to live those last 10 years walking in either of their shoes!
There is a good quote that, "if you don't take the time to work out today, you need to make time for being sick in the future"
Two times, 20-40minutes a week, thats it to start with.
The human body, an incredible feat of biology & evolution! Fight or flight response to get you out of trouble (nice!) Fully autonomous, heals wounds automatically (awesome!) Becomes sedentary and apathetic when in the presence of sugar (what?)
Conversely, if you allow yourself to have treats it can make you feel better than when you went to the gym twice a week and didn't eat any sugar. Idk how but this approach has actually made me lose more weight than when I was doing the first and it's also improved my mental health
I just had blood work for the first time in a while. Pretty sure my blood is approximately 50 percent cheese. I will argue vociferously that it’s just genetics.
Please pass the chips and dip…
On a similar path, made some basic guidance, easy and working well so far:
Eat something with a finny or feathery face once a day.
Eat something with a furry face twice a week.
Use cheese as a condiment, not a main (grated cheese goes farther).
Olives and hummus don't count.
Oatmeal is aortal Drano.
I’m trying to eat healthier. My dogs keep me moving. I actually need to gain a few pounds and not sure how to do that. Any ideas? I’ve never been in this position before.
I refuse to acknowledge that I am currently scrolling towards midnight because of my two daily double espressos. My husband loves to make them for me and hand them over while I’m in a virtual meeting. It’s too cute! ☕️♥️
I recently found out that creatine isn't just a gym bro supplement for sick gainz but also actually improves brain function, so I started putting half a scoop in my water bottle every day and honestly it's been incredible

But at least new Kendrick album :)
Cheers =)

It can't be. It just can't. It JUST can't be right.
My secret?
I ate less and exercised more.
I should write a book. Well, maybe a pamphlet. Or a flier.

I have that sometimes…
Food for thought! 🤔
Interesting 😛 🙄 😛
Have a great jog. I mean day! Have a great day!
