Fun Fact: Years ago I pitched an OWA to a studio that wanted to remake “Angel Heart.” I read the book, which the film is very faithful to, and had zero clue WHY the film needed to be remade, but ATM (Always Take the Meeting). I didn’t get the gig, but I’m not sure anyone did. Prob for the best.
Talking heads -on both sides!- are saying that what Al Green did was pointless, while ALL the rest of us think that was almost the Only thing that did ANYTHING good last night!!!
The GOP sob's had Al Green removed and sanctioned for saying, "Don't touch social security 😳 but didn't even say shit to Marjorie Trailer Park Green for her Bleach Blonde Bad Built Butch Body outburst when Joe Biden was in office. Now, ain't that some shit 😡
I support Al Green. He consistently demands accountability and contradicts lies. Most importantly, he continues to show up so that he can stand up! His voters know he’s getting pulled because some really don’t like free speech when others are speaking! Keep it up!
I fucking love Angel Heart. Saw it in the theater 3x. But that’s just me. But I’m also on the right side of cinematic history. So. Fucking. Good. I do think today’s audiences would figure it out, but in 1987 it hit like 6th Sense, which I picked up on right away because I saw Jacobs’s Ladder on LSD.

Mom covering my eye during Top Gun “sex” scene, Goonies
I’m not looking anything up, but, that movie kinda reminded me of Cast A Deadly Spell
I like them both very much!!!
You surprised me with that one
Remember Bobby’s Nails when he was cracking that egg?🥴
And I’ve been saving Jacob’s ladder for the next time I’m living on an island building boats
Both together must have been intense!
I’ve got a whole box of “wait til later movies” that always surprise when I finally pull the trigger
