TO THIS DAY, I can't help thinking about how the last old school tube TV I ever owned was killed during a lightning storm as I was watching Seven Samurai on Turner Classic Movies.
Holy shit, but it was like a viking funeral for that TV. It went out on the best possible terms. THAT'S a good ending.

I couldn't have crafted a better ending for that TV. I'm still in awe of what the hell happened.
*Righteous.*
I hope everyone was okay!
Glad to hear that everyone was okay out that-a-ways!
Lot of low rumbles and a bunch of “pew-pew” noises, then the 4-D kicked in with the smell of burning rebel scum.
The actual price I pay for this sin is not being able to play lightgun games anymore. Honourable mentions are Time Crisis 2, Vampire Night, and Point Blank 3.
I smile because it showed me a bunch of stuff.
[salutes the TV]
I could've been upset about losing the TV, but honestly, it went out in such a metal way that I couldn't have been mad about it.
TV still works, though.
