I love having horrible nightmares and then waking up and remembering real life is even worse and then going back to bed and having horrible nightmares and every single day is like this forever now and for some reason a third of the country thinks this is good
I know this is just for the markets, but a "Fear v Greed" index as a measure of how the country as a whole feels at any given time will tell you most of what you need to know about why things in the country happen the way they do
Look, sometimes you can't afford to pay your workers because there might be a recession, and sometimes it's because your friend got a new yacht to take him to his bigger yacht and you want one too. That's the free marker.
Look this is a bad chart. With some folks like the stock market.... it has been greed and fear. With inflated make believe numbers that are even hard for then to spend. The evidence of most of the wall street bros wealth is a line graph. Alot of people show a product they made. They made an art graph
How much is the art graoh worth to you? They usually dont know much about how to make anything with the product but there is definitely a chart. It multiples based on basically nothing to do with the value of the company. Some of it is social credit score and I dont believe in much of that.
I love that the only emotions we are capable of having in this system are ones which float between Extreme Fear and Extreme Greed. Great system. 10/10. No notes.
Recessions are opportunities for the rich to make some great deals in stocks & real estate. And Trump knows this so this is not accidental, is not the result of a mercurial personality -- it is PART OF HIS PLAN.
Oh God, can we kind of try to convince this guy to drive all the way to the tip of Chile. That'll keep him busy for at least a few months if you know... forever
This chart genuinely feels like something that would be in a fucking Terry Pratchett book about the most cartoonishly evil Captain Planet level subtlety villains ever written as a satire on how rich people think

Fear and Greed
Look at how much more terrified we could be. This is comparatively good. Quite good. Yes.
