Cyan, on the other hand, released two phenomenal successes (Myst and Riven) in the nineties, then floundered with a poorly-managed MMO, then nearly went under, but they pulled themselves back together and are doing great now, releasing both remakes of Myst and Riven and new games such as Obduction.
sounds pretty tight when the alternative is you work on one live service game you know will fail for 6 years and then everyone dunks on your work and you get fired 3 weeks after release
people have gotten to the "quite genuine vitriol" stage of this tweet doing numbers so i'm locking comments, i love you all and i promise that me saying this does not mean that i want people to be laid off inbetween game releases or that i think differently of you in any way for liking a video game
Maybe not 2D years but we at #Neversoft made nine Tony Hawk games in 10 years and six (I’m never quite sure of the exact number) Guitar Hero games in less than four years. Working on any title for longer than two years gets old really quickly.

But yes, there's an Uncharted, an Uncharted spinoff, and an Uncharted remaster mixed in with the 6 TLOU.
And they delivery quality :)
I'd join in a heart beat
