Hi Im a Data Engineer @ the Carter Center. I support lots of health and peace projects, a few of them ML/DS. Love hearing about the work everyone is doing!
i’m an oss maintainer at @prefect.io and i spend a lot of time helping MLOps folks deploy distributed workloads. i also spend a lot of time on LLM dev tools like structured outputs and RAG in general
Hi I'm Nelson, I'm a DS at NVIDIA working on forecasting. I don't do anything cutting-edge, but there's plenty of work to be done with bayesian approaches and learning to communicate clearly to non-technical folks
Hi, I am a Senior Data Scientist at Paylocity, HR and Payroll Space. I have experience developing LLM powered applications, Recommendations and Fraud detection solutions. Just joined the space and looking forward to learn and share !
Hello! I am building a product creating data products with a variety of LLM/LVMs + more "traditional" stats and ML techniques. I think that it's extraordinary that we can understand so much about the world with these methods. In my free time I like to learn about causal inference.
Hi Friends, I’m helping businesses find and implement practical Ai 🤖 solutions. I’m building RAGs and distributing Ai jobs. A professional nerd with a ton of cats.
I am Kshitiz Khatri and I have been working as a DS for over 8 years at Dell Technologies with primary focus on the NLP based problems. I am interested to learn about other areas apart from LLMs.
Genetics, genomics, & bioinformatics PhD candidate (hopefully) graduating summer 2025! Love stats and data viz and open to working in any data science industry.
I work on rating systems which combine ideas from Bayesian stats, online learning, State space models, paired comparison models and others. I apply these methods on esports competition datasets
Hi all! I’m Pelayo, Head of Data Science at https://idealista.com. I used to be a researcher in Economics and spatial econometrics. Now, I mostly write about management, data strategy, and AI applications. Here, I am also curating data related starter packs!
👋
Kyle here. I’ve been a DE/MLE at startups for most of my career (mostly computer vision), attaching to R&D teams to bring experiments to production and implementing software eng best practices for that transition.
Now I’m striking it out on my own consulting, working on a genAI scheduler for a client, building a platform for consultants at https://Tribe.ai, and working on my second ebook/report for O’Reilly on Kubernetes for MLOps with some great engineers from Red Hat.
Hi, I am late to the party (but I brought pizza)! I am Nicolò and I spend my days training and deploying models for the steel industry, nights making memes and weekends building side projects (sometimes related to data).
Hi there! I am Dipak. I am a physicist by training and currently work on AI/ML in the education sector! I have not been that active in social media but plan to engage more in this space.
Hi, I'm Alan. These days I'm a data generalist, taking an indefinite break from corporate work. My background is in healthcare informatics, although I have lots of stories from my time working on databases and AAA games. I post about data ... sometimes. 😅
Oh, and caveat, I'm a bit of an GenAI pessimist (traditional ML is fine). There are valid use cases, but it isn't a silver bullet. Mostly though, it has to do with the "garbage in, garbage out" problem. 🙃
Hi everyone! I’m Arinbjörn, a machine learning scientist from Iceland
🎓 PhD in ML for health from Imperial College London, now a visiting scholar at the University of Virginia. I also hold a law degree with a focus on technology and regulations.
Hi there. My name is Brittney. I work for a non profit to nurture the tech startup community in Eastern Kentucky. Our organization as a whole focuses on economic development in Appalachia. And I’m on the innovation team. I love data and AI focused tech and get real nerdy when it crosses my desk.
Hey! I’m an engineer focused on the intersection of ML and applied science — most recently, on AI weather models. Besides tech, I post about my travels (I’m on sabbatical), politics, and dumb little jokes to myself.
I'm Brent! Data Storyteller for the City of Edmonton's (municipal government) Data Science team. Will be posting lots of fun public good vizzes, social/culture data sets, research dashboards, and some related article content as I get caught up on things soon!
Hello! I do data science for John Deere, working mostly with data from large ag equipment. I’m always looking for new ways to grow my knowledge and so far I really like the culture of data pros on this app.
Hi I'm Victor!
Once upon a time I would teach data science and machine learning topics (now periodically doing some for 3rd parties). Maybe I'll share more on DS & ML independently
Hi I’m Towaki! I used to work on ML / computer graphics research at NVIDIA but now I work on systems for large scale data / document processing with LLMs. I’ll post about GPUs and LLMs for data stuff 😄
CTO of an AI company, working on the data equivalent of genomics. What are the building blocks of data, and how can we capture and combine them so that data folks can build dashboards, models, etc. quickly, accurately, and cheaply (meaning — without hours of meetings, emails, and wiki updates)?
Hi I'm Carl, currently director of data science at Luminate (we create the Billboard Music Charts) in Manhattan working on streaming TV/video consumption. General data guy and O'Reilly author
I'm Leo Hansa. I mainly develop small tools for analytics consultants, for automating and standardizing some tasks within their team. I don't model too much anymore but focus on preparing data for other to model it. I'll be posting about tabular data.
👋 Hi, I am Michiel and I am a lecturer in applied AI, mostly computer vision. I try to explain things as simple as possible for my students as most students fail to understand the basic concepts in AI. Currently working on explaining image embeddings.
Hi I am Christo, I have been in Data for a long time mostly building platforms and solutions heavy on data and cloud. In the last year I found myself building solutions with LLMs, mainly using them for advanced workflows and automation.
I’m Magnus, SVP Engineering at Lark. Data Science is part of my department. We know AI/ML (particularly LLM) is having a moment… but it’s not new for us (Lark). It is, however, a more recent addition to my department’s responsibilities after a reorg earlier in the year.
Hello! I'm currently studying masters in data science and eager to know more about it! I'm specially interested in biomedical applications and electronics market
Hi everyone! I’m Mat and I work on data engineering and AI in the engineering. I love learning new things, am perpetually curious, and am passionate about technology. I started my AI journey in 2017 with https://fast.ai and have really enjoyed applying it to different problems.
sure i’ll skeet on this thread! i’m an AI engineer using LLMs & knowledge graphs to create ADHD interventions. Automatically structured & organized notes that will remind you. Link in bio.
Hello I'm kandie from Kenya, passionate about tech, currently working on learning how to manipulate data using various data tools , navigating though tech space and building a network
Hey! I'm Chris, I am Product Director and Evangelist for @etiq-ai.bsky.social . We're doing awesome things with new approaches to testing and root cause analysis for Data Scientists writing code. I also ❤️ R.
👋 I’m Guillaume, a researcher in machine learning and optimization with a penchant for open source software. Oh and I also write song parodies on YouTube. My next project is about deep learning, it’s called “Stack another layer” (to the tune of “Living on a prayer” 🎸)
Hello there! Data scientist here working on projects ranging from anomaly detection to recommenders. Newly interested in LLMs and SLMs as the industry dictates. Looking forward to share learnings and expand knowledge/horizon.
Hi! I'm Dan Capellupo, a former astronomer, switched to data science 7 years ago. I have worked at a couple startups, as well as a big corporate. Currently, working on an open-source project called featuring-data and doing some freelance DS work. Look forward to connecting to other DS folks here!
