I've actually been practicing saying "huarache" because when I said it in front of a friend, she could not hold back her laugh. When I told her how much I paid for them, she called her mom to fuss at me. Long story short, thank you for calling that out. I can't be multi-generationally shamed again.
I got them weird timberland boots that don't look like regular timberlands but they're like hiking style and I rock the laces untied because I'm lazy and they're like slippers with tread
If I’m not wearing combat boots, I’ve got these incredibly comfy Sketchers slide on shoes. They’ve lasted over two years so far and still look good imo
I just turned 30 and I have never once been able to style a sneaker properly. Even at age 17 I had “how do you do fellow kids?” energy with those things on
I only wear hiking boots or ankle cut shoes from the thrift store for the most part. But I did find a practically new pair of what I *think* are Jordans last fall, so I’ve been wearing them since it got nice out
Oh, and I know you really didn’t ask, but as far as my boots go- I’m not really hip or fashionable or anything, but I really love my Columbia Bewton Ridges. They’re pretty waterproof, but surprisingly breathable. I wear them in both July and January 🥾
I have ended up amassing a collection of Sea Vees' yearly Pride sneakers just because after I bought 2 of the yearly releases without even noticing I figured I was in it for the long haul.
These are my favorites because rainbow confetti soles.
I have a pair of gray Muji sneakers as house shoes to replace my black Converse as daily wear. When I go out, which is rare, I usually resort back to the black Sketchers steel toe slip resistant sneakers I wore for work. They're incredibly comfortable and their weight is comforting to me.

I have a non-green bottom boring grey Adidas.
I miss my old stuff. :(
Breathable, warm, waterproof, and lightweight.
Everything you can ever ask for.
