Petition: Canada / Greenland to be henceforth known as "Western Europe" for political and cultural purposes.

What was fornerly "Western Europe" now subsumed in "Eastern Europe" for same, particularly given nature of updated geopolitical concerns.

To be pedantic, while I wait for the article, Ireland's position is that the rock is in British EEZ waters (200 miles) and always was, but an uninhabitable rock doesn't have 12 miles of territorial sea around it.

Territorial sea (the 12 mile bit) was once defined as the range of a cannon, so I guess if the British government were to put a cannon on Rockall they might have a stronger claim?

Which I look forward to reading. I imagine Canada would welcome closer economic ties with Europe, but it won't want to give up its independence (eg. On trade policy or sanctions) to Brussels any more than it would to Washington.
