Chili is in the stove so now’s a most excellent time for the weekend Q&A. Ask me any serious question you have about the Super Bowl and the NFL and I’ll answer it as best I can.

I didn't know until this week that Prince performed a mini-set at the press event announcing his Super Bowl participation. It's on YouTube, highly recommended. The man was a god every time he stepped on stage.
I’m sure they’ve had a lot of long and angry conversations about that. Basically it’ll be like TNF: players will hate it but the NFL will make them do it anyway
Do you think there is any chance that any level of football (high school even if only one state, college, or pros) outlaws hitting the QB within the next, say, 20 years? Like the red practice jersey, but in real games? Would have to make him hittable if he leaves the pocket, of course.
Growing up SB was the one time a year the parents buckled and permitted fast food into the home... for me the long-gone Bigfoot pizza is forever ingrained as a "Super Bowl food". Any "only ever had it during the Super Bowl" nostalgia foods for you? (Not sure if the chili is SB-only.)
The Black Sox had a (semi-)legitimate reason for doing what they did that largely gets glossed over in contemporary reference that was for for the most part 'solved' by free agency
The best you *might* get is a The Replacements style player deep into to debt tanking a game.
Dried chile purée (w/chipotles, pasillas, New Mexico chiles) and the secret ingredient (there’s also six pounds of ground beef in the fridge, got the last family pack at Wegmans)
If you had told me two months ago thatBill Belichick wouldn’t get a HC job I would have laughed at you. It seems that teams (mostly) wanted new blood and not a retread this hiring cycle. Do you think that is something we’ll see more often moving forward?
I was thinking. Do you think Atlanta did interviews with Belichick just so they could turn him down as some petty payback for 28-3? Or am I giving them too much credit?
Do people really hate the Chiefs and am I supposed to hate them now too? I grew up at a time where seeing AFC West teams playing in the late window always made me think, “How cute. They think these rivalries are meaningful.” I can’t have strong feelings about any of them.
There’s more to it than that—I think Mahomes entitled attitude with the refs and constant flopping to draw roughing calls has soured some people (me) on them. And their fans once cheered for Ted Cruz, so that’s also reason enough to root against them.
Yeah. There’s that. I just haven’t found that anyone they’re playing makes for a more likable alternative. Certainly not the Niners. Probably not the Ravens.
Is it unreasonable to expect Taylor to perform a song at halftime? Short of an appearance by Weird Al or G.W.A.R., anything less would be lame. I get business and whatnot but ffs why fly from Japan if you're just there to get blurbs for watching the meathead bf?
Drew asked for questions so I asked him a question. And you answered because you are Drew's representative or are you just insinuating your rage into a conversation that did not ask you a question?
Hate the Chiefs but they’ve been actively screwed out of SB appearances (their last AFCC vs Pats for example) whereas how many Pats rings don’t have a fukkin asterisk so, KC has done more honestly at least
Brady got to Superbowls with cold, brutal efficiency. Mahomes has now gone to multiple Superbowls by out-Josh-Allening Josh Allen. He's pulled off enough miracles to qualify for sainthood several times over. I don't know which is better; I absolutely know which one is more fun to watch and root for.
Unless Patrick builds a Time Machine he’ll be 0-2 forever vs Brady when it mattered. He needs to win 8 SBs to change that narrative. Mahomes is unbelievable but what Brady did is Wilt levels of not being repeatable playing to 45 at a high level.
When Mahomes is done he’ll have dozens of amazing plays - scrambles + passes - that Brady doesn’t have. Yeah, he won a bunch, but he never commanded the QB position like Mahomes has the past 6 years.

He’s a repeat and unrepentant cheater.
He can’t draft but demands all the power.
He hasn’t kept up with the modern game.
He’s gonna go down on coaching Mt. Rushmore, but outside of asterisk’d rings and a bad attitude he ain’t shit.
PAAAACK!
He QBed both teams.
What strain of joint ash did you add this year?
What's something irrational you notice about either team that sways your opinion about their chance to win?
Nice miss, dork!
it won’t be an argument if he gets 7
