OK, that's beautiful! His concern, his decision to jump, the joy of being caught instead of going THUMP on the floor. His kind of dog isn't designed to land lightly.
That dog is kind of like a metaphor for all those well known Bluesky users who donβt post anything here. If you take that leap of faith youβll experience joy, and connect with a good community that will be happy to hear from you.
Don't put your animal in a situation where a miscalculation by you or the animal can lead to severe injury or death. This is so basic I can't believe it needs to be said.
I wont argue it. If he had fallen, not gotten caught & broken a leg or worse, no one would have thought it a good idea. I know of dogs breaking a leg & the extreme surgicals costs. Many people euthanize dogs when faced with a surgery costs in the tens of thousands for a dog. Not worth the risk.
Cats have this amazing 'flat themselves out' that can reduce damage on falls to almost zero, one of mine fell from a third story and was absolutely fineππ¦
It's instincts were telling him that being stuck in a high place meant certain death as dogs have no climbing or landing ability. This is sick animal abuse and the dog will suffer trauma, and you think it's amazing? Revolting.
The owner might be, but the dog is clearly terrified. No dog voluntarily seeks out a high place then jumps off voluntarily, it's not a fucking cat. There's a reason have not evolved to climb trees - or to land safely
Beautiful bulldog , just 1 word of advice, bulldogs easily damage the ligaments in their rear legs. It's very painful & life changing for them. Amazing that he has that much trust in his owner.β€οΈ
Once again a cute post with dumb people screaming AnImAl AbUsEβ¦
Frankly at this point Iβd rather lock up the dummies in a prison and have them leave the rest of us alone. They ruin everything. Couldnβt have them look at actual abuse as a problem.

That dog could have had a terrible injury from that height.
Poor dog.
This. If you love your animal you don't *ever* put them in a situation where they can be hurt.

They show us their love every day. All they ask for is love back
And food and water.
Treats are always wanted.
We love our animal children. And when they pass on to the higher plane
We cry like babies....at least i do.
Good boy
No-one forced that dog to jump and look how happy they were, afterwards.

Like I said. Stupid people ruin everything. Locking every stupid person up sounds harsh, but itβs better than what I REALLY want to do. β οΈ
