I believe 50 U.S.C. 3341 controls, and while the Executive Branch has extensive control, the standards for security clearance must be “uniform.”

Like almost everything the White House is doing unlawfully, these personally-motivated revocations would not withstand judicial scrutiny.

Why would it be different for them than for anyone else? The clearance is good for a fixed amount of time, and then a new background check is done, or it expires. They aren't usually revoked unless there is some specific reason, like criminal convictions or evidence of wrongdoing.
