I get the need to safeguard from shoplifting but this CVS setup is insane.

I wonder what the lowball is to get somebody making shit wages to let you take an impression of the key to make copies and sell them to everyone for $20 a pop?
“Yep, stole that one at Target, few seasons back.”
Have you gone… full blown American???

I'm going to try to make that sign.
Loss prevention agents fear me
If a store is losing too much to theft, it reduces the chance for wage increases, bonus, employing more staff or even - keeping the store open.
I'm sure it's edgy & all, but..
Would that theft have consequences & affects on you?
No one's denying that business will reward themselves, but by supporting store thefts - you are adding to a business' justification, to not reward employees.
You're part of the problem
This doesn’t even factor in the loss from folks not bothering to call an employee to grab a tiny bag of chips.
You stop lying about retail theft being a problem that needs solutions like this.
You hire more employees so the entire community is richer and you have more people at the location.
How ridiculous.

However, accepting their challenge to shoplift there would be irresistible
