As I age I see more and more of this - people wanting to exclude me because of my age. I suppose I get it, but it’s a new and slightly deflating experience to be pigeonholed purely on the basis of age.

55 sounds like a good maximum age to serve as leader or in cabinet. Or maybe at all.

I was in my 20s when Clinton made the biggest play I’ve ever seen for young people. Our turnout nudged up slightly — still way below those over 55. You have to vote for people to give a shit about you.
