like not to be "what about me" about it but I have yet to see a single article mention that antipsychotics and mood stabilizers are ALSO life saving. everyone's scared FOR people with depression/ADHD, but when they do bother to acknowledge people with bipolar/schizophrenia, they're scared OF us

Worried about our loved ones who are holding on with stable regimens.
Like hell, they can't even sympathize with how scary it is to have reality break down around you.
How hard is it to keep ppl w psychosis and trauma survivors in the forefront of your mind, when you're talking about the medicine that keeps us stable?
i have PTSD from non-combat trauma in my service, i tell people that shit and you can see the color drain out of their faces
i know i'm only a little voice but i will try my best to ally myself to you, if it wasn't for medicine my ghosts literally scream at me in the night
This is entirely horrid & i'm really hopeful this can be blocked from happening.
Like, thanks for the solidarity, y'all. ☠️
I’ve only had like. stress induced psychosis episodes / hallucinations and MAN ITS…NOT GREAT
MANAGEABLE???? YOU MEAN YOU THINK PEOPLE CAN COMPLETELY CONTROL WHAT THEY DO WHEN THEY'RE MANIC??? LOLLL RIP my bank because of my impulse purchases!!!!
Some people get seriously violent and are very good at planning their actions to hurt others.
People who fear antipsychotic takers but not anti depression takers don't understand how any of these illnesses work.
Really tired of the stigma.
I'm constantly reminding people that those with psychotic symptoms are vastly more likely to be the *victim* of a violent crime than commit one as evidenced by lots and lots of studies.
Here's a big old meta-analysis on the subject.
