It’s so important to have a little bit you do with your cat(s). Whenever I leave the house I tell my cats (Salsa and Queso) “bye, be good, Salsa is in charge while I’m gone”

I have two cats who are sisters with similar looking faces. If I’m not really paying attention, sometimes I can’t tell who is who. I usually say, “Hi sweetie! Hi other sweetie!” as I walk past.

I didn't realize how many times a day I formally say "hi" and wave at my cat every time he enters the room and then again every time he moves after sitting somewhere for a bit until my two year old daughter started waving at him and saying "hi" lol!
