One of the first books that really made me feel seen as a chronically depressed young adult.
The last chapters of this book changed my world view. Up to that point I never thought about trying to see the world through someone else’s eyes.
I must confess it’s still very much a work in progress, & never been easy for me.
I guess the message is to never stop trying.
Film also does it justice!
It made me realize
1. The importance of spending my time doing things I can be proud of.
2. Living in the moment and remembering difficult times will pass.
Yes, perhaps one of my top 20.
A book that opened my mind. Set me up against racism, bias and what honour really means.
I look around me (every day!) and try to see the land as it was during the time of this book…
Grateful for friends with an open (book) mind…
Imagine gathering around a fireside, where conversations flow freely, laughter and tears mix, and each story reveals a new layer of our shared humanity.

I felt like I could tell the Difference as well, king is so unique, and probably my favourite author. I’m not sure I’ve read Ghost story. I’m going to have to check. This app, though, has given me so many new books to check out. I’m very excited to get into some of them.
