Horizon is about the world getting a second chance after techbros literally destroy it. For all of the robot monster hunting and sci-fi trappings, it's a deeply humanistic series. It believes we are worth preserving and saving, free of computers and the SV arrogance of moving fast and break things.

Also what stood out to me as a dev is it’s just so poorly done dev wise. The AI for voice & anim they used is 3+ years old. The AI model in use today, you can’t tell the diff between rec’d audio & mocap anim. They didn’t even bother to layer the animations & blend the bones, which is basic dev.
