So annoying. I think most of us could see a slight Liverpool fall coming but we’re just not healthy enough to put them under pressure. They’re like us in 2022-23 but with no real chaser.

Listen, if by some miracle they lose their next 2-3 games, the combination of falling out of champs league, losing the league cup and they may at least get a little nervous...
I reckon they’re a bit like our last league win - good but should have won a lot more. The champs league knockout games we lost against average prem league teams would haunt Wenger I think.
Yes unlucky with injuries but you could also say, if we signed Sesko, Havertz probably wouldn't have got injured, and we'd have a good striker as a minimum 😭
The few times they have faced any setbacks/adversity they've not looked too stable.
You look at the Everton game and Slot's meltdown. Now their response to going out the CL has been a pretty dreadful performance in a cup final and Slot losing his mind with subs.
Tim, if we beat Fulham, will you start to believe? All it takes is a few draws for that to all start to look like a slim gap. Don't we know it as well...
We’ve had injuries all season but I accept we haven’t been in the race. It’s similar for Liverpool who’ve finished 3rd, 3rd, 4th and 5th in seasons when they’ve had injuries.
Really wasted opportunity. Won't be that many seasons where man city fall apart so we should have been closer to Liverpool. Squad not big enough, not enough rotation, too many injuries.
You've currently won 4 out of 14 games against the current top 10. Your injuries dont cover all those games, what's happened in the rest of the games? Yes you've had injuries, you've also all season been well below the level to challenge for a title
Nearly unbeatable haha, you're a pack of fucking loons. You've won 4 from 14 against the current top 10, you can dress it up what way you like, that's appalling for a side expected to win the league
I’ve not bothered to check if you are right or not tbh because your point is nonsense. The top 10 now isn’t what the top 10 will be in May, nor is it the same top 10 from October. Just one particularly bad point you’ve made in a series that could have been entitled “man lists bad points”.
Buddy, disrespectfully, what the fuck are you doing?
You're necro'ing a post from weeks ago, coming into a conversation in which you weren't involved and aren't wanted, AND you're just flat out, factually wrong.
Hi buddy, the post is from 4 days ago! You also might want to re check your sides results and rethink your own hobby. You've won 4 games from 14 against the current top 10, fact.
Hi Gallo, the post was posted on to my timeline, there were a few things that needed pointing out, instead of you all sitting in your echo chamber patting each other on the back.
And as you say, it’s really annoying that the football gods have conspired to prevent Arsenal from challenging them.
And really annoying that Liverpool have already gotten a bunch of breaks this season that, if you gave Arsenal one or two of them last year, we win the league.
Liverpool’s good seasons luck wise are 90 + points. Their bad seasons are 75 and down. We just need a slight tweak to hit that 90+ bracket (we’ll always need reasonable injury luck).
6 points clear is a stretch, they're on 90 point pace and Salah having a GOAT season. We would have been competitive and put them under pressure for sure, and their current performances show it would have been close. But alas, this season everything has gone wrong for us
Yeah. I think at this point, even if Arsenal were fit and Liverpool stumbled like that, the gap is too big. It would have to be an even bigger stumble.
The season is ‘all odd’ Forest, Bournemouth, Fulham challenging for Europe. Were talking at the game about the impact of the expanded European Championships in Summer meaning late arrivals, many of them rushed and not fully fit. No AfCon. Liverpool largely unscathed by it all
If Salah wasn’t having an all timer of a season, they’d be about 7th. They’ve played like they did today numerous times, but Salah has bailed them out. They’re starting to run out of that Salah luck it seems.
this is a significant misunderstanding of how Arsenal play. Seek out the average position map for any game and you will see the centre-halves on the halfway line. Arsenal defend well because they play into wide areas and don't take many risks with the ball (which can carry an offensive penalty).
Not my point, the poster mentioned Liverpool have a shaky defence, we've conceded 3 more goals. And on your specialist subject injuries, our keeper missed over 2 months of this. Liverpool dont exactly defend on the edge of their box either
Liverpool do have a shaky defense. They petered out of the title race last season because of their shaky defense, and that is why they looked shaky against Everton, Wolves and Southampton.
We can all pick and choose what way we want to paint stats. Liverpool had their number 1 keeper missing for over 2 months, you reckon we may have conceded less had he been playing?
Not exactly. But how is it relevant? We also play one of the highest defensive lines in the league..it's not like we are defending in our own half with our 4 center halves.
In fairness, the fall hasn’t actually happened yet in league terms and they now have two and a half weeks to take stock. They’re currently on pace to get more points than the invincibles.
Interesting they have been knocked out of Europe and beaten in a cup final within a week . If only we hadn’t had those injuries I think they may have crumbled under true pressure.
Not just a collapse from Liverpool, but for us to be relentless in pursuit. I just don’t think either thing is really possible any more, let along both. If we could have stayed within ≈6 points, maybe. But now, no, it’s dead, the damage is done.
All the talk of LIV being best team in Europe never made sense to me. Better than us, yes. But our draw at the Emirates, down 4 starters showed me they are not at that level. Shame we couldn't have pushed them.
While I agree that Arsenal could do with raising the ceiling, the team that Arsenal came into this season with was more than good enough to win the league had everything not gone wrong, especially this season’s league.
I had been thinking the same but it's hard to defend our forwards over theirs, other than Saka. We've been expecting growth from Martinelli and Jesus that hasn't come and our solution has been to build the world's most stunning squad of left backs.
Yes but those players have been available and today's performance is typical of how we've played this season regardless if those players were available or not. Our quality of attack this season has been woeful, its really difficult to watch

They’ve had sporadic single player injuries but it’s been a charmed season for them
What's the harm if you need a goal all of a sudden and Merino is adjusting his socks every 10 seconds?
You look at the Everton game and Slot's meltdown. Now their response to going out the CL has been a pretty dreadful performance in a cup final and Slot losing his mind with subs.
Such a shame we couldn't test them
If Arsenal had just a handful of injuries, we’d be at least six points clear of them.
They’re also nothing special. They’re a good team capitalizing on even better fortune.
Arsenal have been nearly unbeatable this season when all four of Saliba, Rice, Øde, and Saka have played together.
But they've only played together for a whisker of the season.
You're necro'ing a post from weeks ago, coming into a conversation in which you weren't involved and aren't wanted, AND you're just flat out, factually wrong.
Go away. Get a better hobby.
You're having a great season! Enjoy it!
Instead you go find conversations from days ago, between Arsenal fans, to try and talk shit. All while spewing false bullshit about our injuries
That's pretty much the definition of obsession. Get a life
On the season, I am enjoying it, thank you.
And really annoying that Liverpool have already gotten a bunch of breaks this season that, if you gave Arsenal one or two of them last year, we win the league.
All you can do is your best and then go again.
Let’s throw in five penalties for Arsenal to close that 9-2 gap…gets you pretty close!
But it would be the greatest event in football history if it did happen.
They’ve been better than this shambling husk of Arsenal that we’ve had to trot out this season.
You swap an injury or two to, say, another fullback and, like, Thomas Partey, it has a vastly different impact.
Otherwise, they lose to Arsenal playing without Odegaard and Saliba from the off.
