I would like to see an anthology series about pulling historical characters out of their timeframe and just seeing what happens and the questions they’d ask about the shit they’d encounter now.

There's an old Asimov story in which someone invents a time machine, brings Shakespeare to the present, and the person with whom, in the story, the inventor is (later) having a conversation turns out to have flunked Shakespeare in his English course

haha also i think it could get monotonous, like before a certain point in time most folks brought to the present are just going to be utterly blown away by the ability to record and playback a human voice. it’s both comprehensible and awestriking, unlike most other tech which is one or the other.
