Right? When I went freelance in 1997 people asked how I didn’t just sit at home watching TV all day. I told them that the post office delivers me bills every day no matter what I’ve been doing, so I better be doing something to pay them. Plus: all-day TV! 🤮

As an author you can work from wherever you want (or am I wrong in this assumption?), so you could combine holidays in the Caribbean with some hours of typing a day.

Funny how that works, that’s how I finished my dissertation and I wasn’t getting paid for that! But I needed to finish that so I could get the job that would pay the bills. Probably like your field, It doesn’t always work out. Hope it continues to work for you!Looking forward for whatever comes next
