So MANY reasons people should have dumped #Amazon a long time ago. I dumped them in 2015 after the #BBC sacked racist presenters from one of their most popular ever shows and Amazon snapped them up (created The Grand Tour).

Agreed. The tariff cost should be shown. It is an additional tax on the purchase of goods. Don't wanna put it as individual line item? Add it to sales tax line. It'll b confusing, but they can take the president on each purchase.

I boycotted Amazon the day after the inauguration when JB sat in the front row with the other billionaires. Do not miss it at all and am enjoying supporting more ethical businesses.

A former huge Amazon consumer, I'm going on 5 months Amazon-free. Amazon bending over for the orange stain once again is just one more reason to continue the boycott indefinitely. Amazon would have to change their CEO and corporate culture for any opportunity to get my business back at this point.

There are many made in America products on Amazon. By boycotting them, you're hurting American businesses and new entrepreneurs. Pick your battles. No judgements.
Since deciding I don't want to fund Bezos, I've found a lot of other suppliers for products. Amazon has made itself so sticky that most of us got in the habit of not looking. But for many products it's not hard to find alternatives. And making it a little less easy to buy also means spending less

I boycotted Amazon a long time ago and I will continue to boycott it and Washington Post as long as they are owned by Jeff Bezos and he continues to screw over everyone to increase his personal wealth.
Sorry actually went further than that. Deleted account and data. Haven't shopped there now since January. Surprisingly better quality items made right here in Canada. And I shop European,Mexican and South American product as well as Canadian..zero returns.

Every retailer should be required by law to put it right on the receipt so you can add up at the end of the year what the tax is. This is after you've paid Federal Income taxes, Social Security and Medicare. We're getting hammered with taxes. It should be totally transparent per item. Always.
Yes all payable taxes must be made explicitly clear , we did it for VAT didn't we ?and tarrifs belonged to that same class called consumption taxes and for the sake of transparency , shouldn't ya at least know what extras ya payin for ?

I agree. The problem is we who are resisting the American destroying crap from trump were happy that it seemed Bezos was standing up to the bully, then when he folded, many of us felt let down by Bezos. At least I did. I'm disappointed by Target, Walmart & others. I wish we could boycott them all.
