I can’t think of a more pointless politician than Kemi Badenoch. I have no idea what she stands for or why I should vote for her. The only thing I can tell is that she is in a permanent state of outrage at absolutely everything. It must be so exhausting being around her.

I think BadEnoch's overdone outrage is in part to hide her laziness.

As a LibDem, I've obviously never been a fan, but I imagined her as some macho workaholic "I sleep 4 hours a night" etc, rather than lazy. Her repeated PMQ gaffes due to zero research would embarrass any normal person!!

I could maybe stomach the outrage if there was a political strategy behind it. But Kemi Badenoch going after Reform voters, which then repulses moderate Tory voters, when Reform only has 5 seats, while ignoring Lib-Dem voters, when they have 71 seats, is so on brand for her. Human rights are basic principles of democracy, without which there is no democracy. Human rights are fundamental principles intrinsic to democracy for either nationals or foreigners. Also the rule of law for anyone

If Truss had insisted on staying, I’m not sure the party could have removed her. But a PM can do a lot more damage than a LotO, so I suspect the methods used to persuade her to resign were… quite robust, shall we say.
