I ride a bike for transportation in urban environments and I'm tired of motorists trying to take my life from me simply for existing outside of a multi-ton vehicle.

“helps her exhaustion”, so basically she’s admitting she shouldn’t be behind the wheel of any vehicle. If she’s too tired to drive perhaps she should try taking the bus. She could save over $150k, and retire from her exhausting job sooner.
What really drives me nuts is how often you get honked at even though you have the right of way. American drivers are so entitled. Not to mention all the people who park in bike lanes. See it literally every time I do my usual route.
Locally a guy on a bike was killed by a car driver, who was charged because they had texted a fried to say they were exhausted, immediately before driving home and ending a life.
I hope this person doesn't do the same thing, but at least if she does, her culpability will also be on on record.
We have a great word in UK English for such situations: "Diddums":
(for Americans this means "used to express commiseration to a child or, ironically, to an adult." source : Oxford Languages)
I like that she admits to driving while exhausted. I guess she’s relying on the FSD feature, but maybe even with that someone shouldn’t be driving while practically falling asleep at the wheel.
I mean to be honest i think the author reasoning is quite understandable from a disabled person perspective even though a cybertruck wasnt the right choice. If you read her story she isnt talking about urban enviroments but cross country
Ooops! I'm sorry, "joke" fell flat! I meant, An article with a title similar to your post! If folks are gonna write about feeling scared in their ridiculous tanks, you'd think there'd be interest in being scared for a good reason. But alas.
Sorry I didn't take better care with my post, though!
Oh I see what you're saying. Like where is a reported instance substantiating this irrational fear. Some people always want be a victim. They are a type.
I think the joke was that they can't find an article in the mainstream media with a title like "I ride a bike for transportation in urban environments and I'm tired of motorists trying to take my life from me simply for existing outside of a multi-ton vehicle." (correct me if I'm wrong)

In life you make choices and those choices inform others (whether right or wrong) who you are and what you stand for.
If you don’t like the response, exercise some cognitive functions and sell the damn thing or accept what it represents.
There are two cyber trucks in my neighborhood and both of them drive like assholes
One of them does this thing when they pass you where they accelerate in short bursts.
I can almost taste the rubber coming off his tires
That’s my least favorite fun fact
there was no bike lane - he wanted me in the street gutter
he came inches away from hitting me and of course he didn't even slow down

I have failed short form communication this time. I hope it’s not a theme for my future attempts.
