Yes. He says he will change the BLOCK so that anyone you block can still see your posts, just can't interact with them. So it's going to be a STALK button instead, I guess.

Only if someone wants to go to the trouble of tracking a blocked post down. Very few dogpilers are willing to take that much trouble.?In general, the more steps to follow, the more people bail.

One thing is much bigger here: if A blocks B, then _no one_ can see previous places where B replied to A, nor can they see in any quote-response that B made of A what post of A's it was that was being quoted.

Yes, that’s true within the app/logged in. I was thinking more in terms of the open protocol used here that means it’s all essentially public. But, as was pointed out, I wasn’t thinking about the logistics around that, which I think are important.

More accurately, he removed the "friction" of the workaround where you have to look at public tweets while not logged in. So now you can just look at tweets where you're blocked, but can't interact directly.

It's still bad. The friction helped.
