Menus are dead, what we really need is an app where people who are already at a restaurant can give the rest of us real-time updates about the noise level, parking situation, and availability of comfortable seating

What is interesting to me is that most of this could be ascertained by an app with minimal input from the humans providing the information.
How was parking?:
Open
Crowded
Abysmal
Seating?:
Right away
Put name in (starts internal timer)
At table (stops internal timer)
Noise level and light level could be checked via microphone and camera once you indicate that you are seated.
Once seated it pops up buttons:
Drinks ordered
Drinks arrived
Food ordered
Food arrived
Check arrived
Leaving
My sister & i had dinner at a slightly upscale restaurant Sat night, and oddly, didn't realize how noisy the place was until we left... My ears nearly went into shock.
But also, what is the lighting situation? Is it so bright that I’m going to be annoyed, or so dark that I’m going to be frustrated when I request my paper menu and can’t read it?
Walked out from a restaurant yesterday after 10 mins trying to install the ordering app, four attempts to get the sms sent to the right country code, requesting tech support (offered grudgingly) then losing all progress as it reset to the wrong restaurant location. Food dystopia.
I don't understand this, like I don't understand buffets and self checkouts. Why I am paying an upcharge to get my own food so the restaurant can employ fewer people?
I was just thinking this about the grocery store! Give me an app that tells me how crowded the store is, if it’s well stocked, if the produce is fresh and ripe
