The number of people who respond to this with “filibusters do nothing” or “they have to vote no!” makes me think that way too many people do not understand current Senate rules.

And when it blocks high priority bad stuff, it’ll be removed. Which will be convenient when we someday retake or reestablish the Senate
This is because the Senate requires, in non-nomination settings, a vote (called cloture) to bring a bill to a vote.
That means if you are a minority party, you can prevent shitty legislation by simply not voting to vote.
If they ever want to win another election that is.
Poking republicans with their own pitchforks might be satisfying.
i agree it's worth trying anything we can at this moment
& i hope all of us who think we are beyond representational governance are wrong.
"We have to be smarter than them..."
But we're, ( at least I am ), talking about a regime.
But I'm not waiting on pins and needles or anything else .
I've got a plan...and I'm certainly not focusing on him...nor am I waiting for someone to save us(me)....
I am now and in the future....very far from being done.
I said that the democrats are right-wing.
I watched Mitch McConnell block everything Obama wanted while Democrats keep enabling Trump with a worse majority.
Democrats have left me behind my whole life while I defended all of their endless failures.
I will no longer defend a party that fundraises off of my suffering. I need the 99% to wake up.
