Again, Trump fired SBA Inspector General Mike Ware after he found $200 billion in fraud in Trump's COVID programs and returned $40B to the US Treasury.

When political scientists refer to the base of a party, they do not have a specialized definition about flying flags from their boats. It means the core, committed voters who show up every election. You're not getting to that number by picking out people who own businesses you loathe.

My favorite PPP fraud story is when there was a guy in my town in jail awaiting trial for raping his girlfriend’s 15 yr old daughter, and he couldn’t post the $20K bond for a few months, and then his brother got a $20K PPP loan as an “independent contractor” and you’ll never guess what happened next

Having known some of the type, it seems like they all convince themselves "everyone" is doing it or would do it if they could get away with it and therefore it doesn't matter if they do or not. It's all based on the assumption that there are no honest people, so there's no incentive for them to be.
